WASHINGTON, DC: Ashley St Clair revealed that tech billionaire Elon Musk offered her an insane amount of money not to publicly name him as the father of her newborn child, the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday, April 15. She also shared on the same day that the infant she shares with Musk is a baby boy named Romulus.
The 26-year-old conservative influencer first made public that she had given birth to Musk’s child in February. Romulas is reportedly the 14th child born to the Tesla CEO, who is yet to acknowledge him publicly. This has him locked in a legal battle with St Clair, as a part of which he had to undergo a paternity test.
The test result reportedly determined that Musk is “99.9999%” likely to be the father of St Clair’s newborn.
What did Elon Musk offer Ashley St Clair to buy her silence?
St Clair claimed that Musk offered her $15 million and $100,000 a month to not publicly disclose him as the father of the child until he turns 21. Even as the influencer is facing money problems amid an ongoing legal tussle, she refused the offer and resorted to selling her Tesla instead.
She was approached with the offer by Musk’s fixer, Jared Birchall, who informed her it was the same agreement that the billionaire had with other mothers of his children, such as pop star Grimes and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.

Other demands made by Musk include delivering the baby via a caesarian section, which he believes allows the child to have a larger brain, and not undergo a circumcision.
Both were rejected by St Clair, who wanted a natural birth on account of her Jewish faith. However, she did grant the request of leaving Musk’s name off of Romulus’ birth certificate, an offer that Birchall made while she was inducing labor.
Going against Birchell’s wishes, St Clair hired an attorney for herself. When Birchell demanded that she sign papers stating that she would keep Musk’s parentage a secret in exchange for the $15 million and $100,000 a month, she refused. The paper apparently prevented her from saying anything negative about Musk, but did not stipulate a similar arrangement the other way round.
Musk allegedly tried to influence her decision by claiming he was under threat of assassination for supporting Donald Trump, but failed in his attempt.
Ashley St Clair sold off her Tesla
The Daily Mail reportedly caught up with St Clair while she was selling off her Tesla Model S worth $100,000 outside her Manhattan apartment in late March.
“I need to make up for the 60% cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she pointedly stated at the time.
When asked if Musk was being vindictive, she added, “Well, that’s his modus operandi when women speak out. You can check the stocks, I’m not the only one who is cleaning up after his messes. The markets are catching up to what I have known for a long time.”
