Kelly Ripa had a significant influence on Lacey Chabert, and the TV presenter had no idea.
On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Chabert, 42, came on Live! with Kelly and Mark to discuss how her career crossed with the two hosts’ when they all featured on All My Children. Chabert portrayed Bianca Montgomery, the daughter of Erica Kane’s Susan Lucci, while Ripa, 54, and Consuelos, 53, played Hayley and Mateo, respectively.
“You were a baby actress,” Ripa said to Chabert.
“I started when I was 7 years old, here in the city,” Chabert remarked, mentioning that All My Children was one of her first jobs. She participated in the series from 1992 to 1993. She then informed Ripa, “But do you know what I remember from the show?
“You do?!” Ripa inquired, astonished. Chabert stated, “Yes, Susan Lucci was fantastic and a lot of fun, but I remember you. And I thought you were the coolest!”
“Really!?” Ripa asked. The actress explained, “And I was like, ‘I want to be just like you.’”
Ripa cracked a joke: “And now that you’re an adult, you realize I was struggling and the goofiest weirdo ever.” But Chabert said, “You’re still the finest. I still want to be just like you.” Consuelos also praised his wife, saying, “She was really, really cool.”
Chabert’s other early acting credits were 1991’s A Little Piece of Heaven, the 1993 television film Gypsy, and Fox’s Party of Five, which aired from 1994 to 2000. Chabert rose to prominence after starring in the 2004 film Mean Girls.Online movie streaming services

“Isn’t that crazy?!” I’m so, so proud of it,” she told PEOPLE in 2024, when she completed 40 Hallmark movies. “It’s really surreal.”
“I had no idea when I did the first one that it would become what it is today, and I’m so proud of it, as well as the journey and excitement that filming 40 movies has brought to my life.” “It’s just been a wonderful experience,” she explained.
